It’s just about here!

On Tuesday, March 2, DEEP IN THE WOODS, Vampire Babylon, Book Six, will be on shelves. This is the culmination of the London Underground trilogy portion of the series. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m getting more emails from readers asking if this will be it for Vampire Babylon. Still no word yet from Ace. I’m working on that second urban fantasy series for them (the post-apocalyptic paranormal series I keep mentioning, BLOODLANDS, out in late 2011). Ace would like to take care of launching that first. I do know where I’d like the series and characters to go after DEEP IN THE WOODS though, and you can see a hint of the destination when a Vampire Babylon short story will be released in an anthology later this year. (I’ll be announcing the title and shelf date when I get it, so remember to check my Twitter and Facebook pages, plus my blog for updates!)
Meanwhile, cross your fingers and enjoy DEEP IN THE WOODS, in which Costin goes on the attack with the Underground when he extracts some pivotal information from the master that the team is holding captive at headquarters. Unfortunately, after Costin has left, Dawn discovers that the master might’ve been setting a trap, so she and the team have to find a way to save him. Of course, you’ll catch up with Della and the other girl vampires of Wolfie’s Underground, as well as Lily, the wicked shadow custode. There are just a few more surprises in store, too, and I hope you like all of it!
Until then, there’s an excerpt from DEEP IN THE WOODS on www.crystal-green.com and www.vampirebabylon.com . If you’re entering the new contest, you’ll want to take a look at it because it contains the answer you’ll need to enter. And I’m sure you won’t be able to resist doing so, since this is the prize package:

Since there’s a Red Riding Hood theme winding through the London Underground trilogy in the Vampire Babylon series, I thought it’d be appropriate to offer this striking print from Neko Press. But that’s not all you can win—the winner will also receive signed copies of the Vampire Babylon books that came before DEEP IN THE WOODS. This includes
NIGHT RISING (mass market)
MIDNIGHT REIGN (trade)
BREAK OF DAWN (trade)
FIRST BLOOD (mass market, includes a Vampire Babylon novella)
A DROP OF RED (trade)
THE PATH OF RAZORS (trade)
So go for it!
Now, for the personal appearance section. Some very fun stuff here (and, again, you’ll want to keep current on any blog appearances I might add by checking my blog, Facebook, or Twitter …).
